While pursing a degree in Communication studies, Nikkia discovered a passion for helping her peers land internships and post-graduation employment. As a Peer Career Navigator, she helped students map out career plans, write resumes & cover letters, and master interviewing skills. 

 

Empowered to chart a career committed to social justice, Nikkia has dedicated her professional career to federal public service and the legal protection of workers' rights. As a securities practitioner, she has a sharp lens on the connectivity between workers' rights, career advancement, and economic prosperity. 

Nikkia has sat on numerous hiring committees, reviewed hundreds of employment applications, and performed dozens of mock interviews for job seekers. She is a rising career coach and professional resume writer with expertise in personal branding and technical editing. 

A native New Yorker, Nikkia lives in Virginia and calls the DMV home.
